I want to become a registered nurse and was originally planning on working full time. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how much they make part time? I was hoping to do maybe 3 days a week at 8 or 12 hour shifts. Thanks!

My wife is going to college to become a nurse. She has been told by friends that nurses aren’t allowed to wear earrings while working. Is this true?

She currently has ten earrings in each ear.

Hi everyone, im in college right now, i was wondering what are the steps to becoming a nurse tell me if im right and correct me if im wrong

__________________________________________________________________

1) get an AS in Nursing @ 2 year accredited Community College
2) get a part time job @ a hospital
3) apply for 4 year university to get a BS to become a Registered Nurse
4)????

When exactly do you receive the license to become a nurse? is it after the AS degree?

Last question for all of you nurses out there, what’s your typical schedule, and can you choose your own hours to work? i prefer not to work overnight

thanks!

What kind of field do they specialize in, pediatrics? I know that the doctor is a OB/GYN. But what are the nurses called? Or rather, what field do they specialize in? And how many years do you have to go to school to become one?

I want to be a registered nurse. I am going to go to college for 2 years for an associate degree in nursing. I would really love to work with the newborns and mothers. I do not know what hours I would have to work, and what kind of nurse would I be? Do registered nurses work in different fields? I know I want to work with people, take care of people, and learn about health. I am just confused about some aspects of nursing and what I want to do in nursing! Help me out as much as you can! Thank you!
